The Office of Enrollment Management
Enrollment Management aims to align the strategic goals of the UCI campus and academic units with sustainable enrollment planning. The office engages campus partners in meaningful conversations on enrollment trends and outcomes and uses data-driven analytics to inform decision-making. Enrollment Management represents the offices of Undergraduate Admissions, Financial Aid and Scholarships and the University Registrar. These key functional offices support the campus goals to recruit, retain and provide a first-in-class education to the most talented students regardless of background.
The mission of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions is to support and achieve UCI student enrollment goals through practices consistent with the mission and values of the university. The Office seeks to identify, recruit, admit and enroll high-achieving, talented and accomplished students who reflect diverse backgrounds from throughout California, across the United States, and abroad. UCI welcomes students who will contribute to and celebrate the diversity of the campus, realize their potential to positively impact the community and world, and foster their own and the university’s spirit of research and innovation.
The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships supports the university’s goal of ensuring that highly-promising students from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences are able to attend the university. The office provides comprehensive financial support that makes going to the university possible. The Office aima to remove financial barriers and devise strategies that allow students to focus on academic success and take full advantage of the university experience. Process improvements are continually developed to make obtaining financial aid assistance easier.
The Office of the Registrar is committed to ensuring the integrity of the university’s academic records. The Office carries the responsibility for managing all areas of student registration and maintaining and accurately certifying student academic records. The Office strives to enhance the educational experience by serving students, maintaining information systems, and clarifying academic policies to help students enroll in courses and attain their degree on time.
Enrollment Management Analytics (EMA) provides real time information on enrollments and the student lifecycle to support strategic planning efforts for academic units, academic programs, student support services, and various levels of campus leadership. EMA aims to put relevant and timely information directly into the hands of the end users, and continually works with campus partners and stakeholders to develop resources and reports to bring into alignment the activities of functional areas with the university's overall mission and objectives.
